Privacy Policy

What is a Privacy Policy?

A basic privacy policy outlines your Web site’s relationship with users’ personal information. To be successful online and avoid legal problems, your website needs a privacy policy. The first step in creating a compliant and comprehensive privacy policy is understanding exactly what it is. A privacy policy describes how your Web site collects, uses, shares and sells your visitors’ personal information. If you collect personal information from users, you need a privacy policy in most jurisdictions.
